Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, provide an email address you control, complete required verification, choose a lawful display name and handle, and keep access to your account secure.

Do not impersonate another person, create accounts to evade a restriction or participation limit, transfer an account without permission, or use an invitation intended for someone else.

What the beta provides

Depending on the controls shown in the product, the beta can provide Casual Duels, Proof Duels, Showcases, Competitions, Tournaments, Community Choice votes, team participation, invitations, evidence submission and custody, private and consent-published records, Open applications, notifications, governed assistance, feedback, safety review, appeals, export, and deletion workflows.

A route, description, or template does not guarantee that every command is open. Registration windows, invitations, lifecycle state, eligibility, role, evidence policy, safety restrictions, and operator pauses may limit a specific action. The server-owned record is authoritative when a screen and record disagree.

Agreements, decisions, and evidence

Participants and organizers must use the stated lifecycle, deadlines, format, electorate, evidence rules, scoring or decision method, and withdrawal boundaries. Do not fabricate a participant, submission, vote, score, result, consent, or event.

Evidence and links may be used only for the activity and visibility described when they are submitted. A result, Proof record, score, vote, or organizer decision is a bounded platform record, not independent verification of truth, impact, skill, identity, eligibility, or human worth.

Community Choice ballots are processed under the published vote rules. Published outcomes may be aggregate while ballots and eligibility evidence remain restricted. Proof Passport and social publication require the applicable participant choices and do not create a global ranking.

Open applications

When an Open application window is shown as open, an eligible participant may create, revise, and submit an application under the displayed track, deadlines, evidence requirements, and declarations. Submission is not acceptance, selection, certification, funding, employment, endorsement, or a promise of a future benefit.

Annual Open rules, judging arrangements, awards, or other terms not presently displayed are not created by these beta terms. A material new Open stage or benefit requires its own reviewed rules before that stage opens.

Your material and license

You retain rights you already have in text, images, files, evidence, links, applications, and other material you submit. You give the project a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, transform for delivery, and display that material only as needed to provide, secure, review, troubleshoot, and improve the service and to carry out the visibility and publication choices you make.

Do not submit secrets, unnecessary personal information, regulated data, unlawful material, malware, deceptive synthetic material, or content you lack permission to use. External sites remain governed by their own terms. You are responsible for checking that a public or team-visible submission is appropriate for that audience.

Assistance and human responsibility

When governed assistance is available, it may help draft or review material within the product boundary. Suggestions remain drafts, can be wrong, and do not make decisions, publish content, submit evidence, cast votes, score participants, resolve safety matters, or replace the responsible person’s review.

Safety, moderation, and corrections

Participation must be voluntary. Follow the Community Rules, honor blocks, refusals, removals, and withdrawals, and use the confidential report path for safety concerns. The project may restrict accounts or capabilities, preserve relevant evidence, correct a defective record, reverse an invalid action, or pause commands when reasonably needed to protect people, records, or the service.

Where the product provides notice, response, recusal, appeal, or correction controls, use those controls and deadlines. They are product safeguards rather than a court, arbitration service, professional regulator, or guarantee of a particular outcome.

Beta availability and legal status

The beta may contain defects, change, or be interrupted. It is provided as available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no guarantee is made that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, suitable for a particular purpose, or a reliable measure of truth, impact, skill, identity, or human worth.

Public Value Open is presently an independently operated public-benefit software project and has no government endorsement. The operator legal name, service address, governing jurisdiction, venue, and formal entity remain explicit external placeholders. Applicable mandatory law still applies.

The beta does not presently offer payments, entry fees, prizes, employment, equity, professional certification, or government-recognized credentials. A future release cannot add one of those things silently through a copy change.

Changes

Material changes require a new immutable policy version and fresh acceptance before further affirmative product actions. Authentication, account recovery, private history, data rights, confidential safety paths, and an explicitly safe withdrawal remain available according to their established boundaries during re-attestation.
